The joint military-police taskforce, Operation Vanguard (OV), formed to help fight illegal small-scale mining (Galamsey) menace in the country, should be disbanded because the taskforce has failed Ghanaians, Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has said.
