President Akufo-Addo has stated that the rationalisation of the banking sector by his government, has ensured that deposits of 1,147,366 Ghanaians were saved.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the new Standard Chartered Head Office on Wednesday, 3rd October, 2018, President Akufo-Addo added that his administration assumed the reins of office in January 2017, with the country’s banking sector in deep trouble.
