Salifu Mahama, the Executive Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee (IMCC) on Decentralization said the success of decentralization requires sufficient financial resources to perform essential expenditure functions and responsibilities assigned to Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
