Ghana striker Jordan Ayew is in the hunt to win the Ligue de Football Professionnel�s best goal award of the season.
The 20-year-old�s cracking goal for Olympique Marseille in their 4-0 win over Lens in the Coupe de la Ligue has been nominated for best goal of the season.
But he faces a stiffer competition from team-mate Andre Pierre Gignac, Malian international Samba Diakite, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and six others.
The younger Ayew rattled the net with a ferocious drive from 25 yards on 68 minutes as Marseille humble Lens 4-0 to go through to the last eight.
