Kwadwo Asamoah Rubbishes Man United Link

Udinese midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has played down transfer talk and insisted that he is only focusing on helping his side to finish as high as possible in Serie A this season. The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to English Premier League champions Manchester United in recent weeks, with Sir Alex Ferguson thought to have had the player scouted on a number of occasions. Indeed, Udinese are bracing themselves for a battle to keep hold of the Ghana international in the summer, although securing Champions League football for next season could boost their cause. And at present, that is all Asamoah is focusing on, with transfer talk banned. Im thinking only about Udinese, said the Ghana star when asked after Udineses 1-1 draw with Palermo last night about his future. I still have many years left on my contract, but if something is going to change then I will think about what to do, he added. Asamoah also took time to praise Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin for the contribution he has made to his continued improvement. Guidolin helps us a lot and in the last few years I have really grown thanks to his advice and tactical instructions.
