Ex-ghana President John Kuffuor Lauds Kotoko�s Achievement

Ex-Ghana President John Kuffour has hailed the current Asante Kotoko administration led by Dr. K.K Sarpong. The club secured this season�s Premier League title after four disappointing years with four games to spare. Kotoko is also on course to winning this year�s FA Cup as they face Division One side Amidaus Professionals in the Round of 16 on Saturday. The Porcupine Warriors will also in just one year of the Dr. Sarpong administration be representing Ghana in the next edition of the CAF Champions League by virtue of their domestic feat. The achievements of the club in recent times had not gone unnoticed and these were enumerated by President Kuffour who was once the club chairman when he met up with Dr. Sarpong at his residence on Thursday. �I am very happy for the transformation of the team since taking over the club,� he told the Kotoko chairman at the meeting. �I have been monitoring events at the club, and I must admit that the changes at the club now are tremendous.� The ex President is making a pledge to contribute towards the payment of recently incurred debts by the club advices measures be employed to ensure such developments doesn�t emanate in future. �Put in place measures that will forestall a repetition of such situations at the judgement debt,� he adds. �As a former CEO of the club, I pledge to contribute my widow�s mite duly to help save the image of the club.
