A youth group in the Lower Manya Krobo district, Kloma Gbi is threatening to demonstrate if water supply is not restored to the Atua government hospital immediately.
The group also wonders why the entire lower Manya Krobo district has been without water for several weeks now.
Hospital officials at the Atua government hospital have been raising concerns over the challenges they are going through treating patients without water.
Although the Ghana Urban Water Limited promised to deal with the issue when their officials spoke to XYZ News, the medical superintendent, Dr. Alexander Osei Bonsu said nothing has changed.
Spokesperson for the Kloma Gbi youth group, Adjase Henky in an interview with XYZ News said radical actions will be taken by the youth in the coming days if the situation does not improve.
�Water is life, in a way you can survive without food but not water, so that tells you the difficulty we are in now, it is serious and there is always shortage of water in Manya.
�The district holds two water holding water treatment plants and water runs through them to other places but not in the district where the water is produced�.
