Prez. Mills Flies Out For Medical Check-up

President John Mills has left Ghana for a medical check-up in the United States of America. This follows wild rumours on Saturday evening that the President was dead. According to the President, who spoke to journalists at the Kotoka International Airport moments before his departure, the check-up he is going for is a regular routine, adding that his doctors had recommended it. He is, however, expected back in a few days but the specific number of days he would be spending out of the country is unknown. The Vice President John Dramani Mahama is however going to act in his stead. Social Media Networks were replete with questions and rumours that President Mills was dead. The rumours spread like wild fire reaching the seat of government, triggering a responds which indicated that the president was hale and hearty and was only going for check-up. Spotted in a blue-black suit with a matching tie, President Mills coaxed a laugh from journalists gathered with him before his departure by asking them whether a dead man would be talking to them. He added that he had informed the appropriate authorities of his departure hence there was no need for panic. This is the umpteenth time President Mills has been rumoured to have died but as it stands he is going for a check-up. The latest rumour of President Mills demise is as a result of his long and loud silence in recent days following the clashes that erupted in parts of the country. This raised eyebrows and led to questions being asked.
