I�ve Enough Energy To Work...And Will Drive To The Castle - Prez Mills

President John Evans Atta Mills arrived home from his nine-day �routine medical check-up� in the US on Monday afternoon, to ecstatic cheers from party supporters clad in NDC paraphernalia and dancing to some brass band tunes. He was met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport by the Vice President John Mahama, General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia; National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Kwabena Adjei; flagbearer of the People's National Convention (PNC), Mr. Hassan Ayariga and some government officials. In a brief address to the hundreds of NDC supporters who thronged the airport, President Mills noted that he would have loved to have had his medical check-up done in the country, but was advised by his doctors to undergo the checks outside the country. �My doctors felt that for one or two reasons, which were quite� (Mills) should go outside the country. Now according to the constitution, whenever I leave the country, i have to indicate to Parliament...I would urge that we continue to pray for all those who decide to go for medical check-ups,� he said. An enthusiastic President Mills, also announced to Ghanaians that after the check-up, the doctors told him that he had �enough enough energy� to enable him execute his work as president. �I have a message. The energy that I have is strong enough� and therefore I will drive from here to the Castle to continue my work...We should all work together because we in the NDC have work to do. God is in control,� President Mills said.
