NPP: Bonne Arrive MillsBut There Are Pressing Issues That Begs Your Attention

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially welcomed President John Evans Atta Mills back home from his nine day medical check-up in the United States of America. Prior to the Presidents trip, rumours were rife on some social networking sites that he had passed away with the opposition NPP being accused of fuelling the grapevine reports of his demise. Whiles wondering the basis for such rumours, President Mills assured Ghanaians that he was just going away for a few days to see his doctors. Subsequently, the Presidential candidate of the NPP issued a statement wishing the president well on his medical treatment abroad. we have learnt last night [Sunday] from President Atta Mills that he was on his way to the United States to see doctors for medical treatmentHe [Mills] takes with him the thoughts and prayers of all Ghanaians who wish him good health and a safe return to duty in a few daysI hope the checks go well and he comes back fit and strong, Nana Addo said in the statement. But that statement did not sit down well with the ruling party as several members of government slammed the NPP presidential candidate for issuing a goodwill message which was laced with mischief. Thus, after a successful routine medical check-up in New York, H.E the President of the Republic of Ghana arrived home at about 12:45pm on Monday; and quite naturally, there were a number of NDC supporters who in a "spontaneous goodwill", were eager to welcome the president in a rousing manner. And the NPP is also joining millions of Ghanaians in wishing the President "bonne arrive".
