The flagbearer of the Progressive People�s Party (PPP), Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, is lamenting on a day like the Republic Day when Ghanaians are supposed to make merry and be proud of the nation because he believes there is �no celebration� due to the hardships.
In a Republic Day message to Ghanaians, Dr. Nduom said, strangely the �nation is silent� because there is �no steely resolve to be self-reliant, to jealously guard our Republic and make our nation great and strong.�
�Where is our joy? Where is our hope?� the PPP founder queried.
However, Dr. Nduom admonished Ghanaians to �regroup, join forces, unite as one people in one nation, throw aside our ethnic, religious and political shades this day and see only Ghana and Ghanaians.
�Let�s wish our Republic and our nation well. God bless our homeland, this republic we call Ghana! God bless our homeland Ghana.
