The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is taking his �thank you� tour to the Volta region on Tuesday after concluding Central and Western regions.
The President is also billed to visit coastal communities that were affected by tidal waves over the weekend, displacing and rendering over 500 people homeless and sweeping over 40 houses.
The President�s �thank you� tour is aimed at expressing his appreciation to the people of the various regions for mourning with the government during the demise of President John Evans Atta Mills.
President Mahama has already visited the Central and Western regions where he was met by a mammoth crowd.
He also used the opportunity to visit some developmental projects and promised government�s commitment to help develop their communities.
