Black Princesses Riddled With Indiscipline

Coach of Ghanas Black Princesses, Robert Sackey, claims his team is riddled with indiscipline that came to light moments after announcing his final squad. The Princesses lost their first two games at the ongoing FIFA U-20 Womens World Cup in Japan following defeats to United States and Germany and the Coach insists the indiscipline exhibited by the team remains their bane. Their attitudes changed moments after the submission of the final list to FIFA. They started to show their true colours right after that. That attitude will have to stop else our teams will go nowhere. The Coach suggested that the attitude was inherent in Ghanaian teams. When asked what he did to instill discipline into his charges, he retorted what am I supposed to do. Sack them all when the final list had already been submitted? GNA Sports can confirm that the Princesses threatened to boycott their two-week training tour of the United States prior to the tournament, citing unpaid bonuses despite having received seven months allowances with only one match bonus in arrears. The Princesses has crushed out of the competition after a second half German goal by substitute Lina Magull handed them their second defeat in Group D. Ghana was seeking to improve their outing as debutants in 2010 where they exited the competition at the first round but they barely staged a fight for a decent result even though their performance looked a shade better than their first game which they lost heavily, 4-0 to the United States. Though the Coach will not open up on whether the indiscipline is on or off the field or both, he claimed the Princesses failed to comply with his tactical instructions during their 0-4 drubbing by the United States. The Princesses are effectively out of the competition after the two losses and would attempt a face saving mission when they play China in their last Group D game on Monday.
