Suspected Thief Of Otumfuo�s Jewels Arrested In Sweden

A man believed to be of Mexican decent has been arrested in Sweden in connection with stolen crown jewels belonging to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II lost his crown jewels in the lobby of the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo, Norway last week. The suspect has confirmed he was the one captured by the CCTV footage at the hotel taking the jewels, but the police are yet to find the jewels. Roar Hanssen of the Oslo Police Press in an interview with Citi News explained that �two days ago, a man was arrested in Sweden by the Swedish Police at the airport but so far the jewels are still missing. He has told the police that he is the man in the CCTV footage that the Police have published.� He continued that �he has not told the police where the jewels are so we are still looking for them. He is still in Sweden but we hope to get him to Norway tomorrow [Friday]. We have been in contact with the King�s representative.�
