PPP Will Win 2012 Election - Nduom

The Presidential candidate of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has hit hard at critics who he claims have concluded that although he is a good candidate, his party cannot win the December 2012 Elections. According to him, Ghana has 20 years of wasted votes to show for its achievements. You have voted and wasted your votes for 20 years and this can be seen in the recession of almost everything in Ghana, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom noted. He added that it was time for the PPP to be given the opportunity to show its mettle in governance. The PPP leader made this statement during his campaign tour in the Western Region on Wednesday. Dr. Nduom has toured the three Nzema constituencies in the region; namely Jomoro, Ellembelle and Evalue-Gwira. At Bonyire in the Jomoro constituency, Dr. Nduom told the teeming crowd in the township that their votes had so far culminated in unimproved livelihoods for them arguing that unemployment has reached record heights while infrastructural development remained a distant reality. He disclosed that it was during his tenure as Energy Minister that he vehemently pushed for the siting of the Osagyefo Badge in the Western Region instead of Tema in the Greater Accra Region. According to Dr. Nduom, this act led to the oil find which had brought hope to the people of the region. He therefore urged the people of Jomoro to vote for him since he had the ideas to develop the constituency.
