Wolves Boss Says Signing Frimpong Would Be An Insult To David Davis

Wolverhampton manager Stale Solbakken says a loan move for Arsenals Emmanuel Frimpong would have been an insult to midfielder David Davis. Wolves will monitor Frimpong but Solbakken said: It would be very rude and not right when we have David Davis, who weve encouraged and who has made real progress. Frimpong is a good player but he needs four to eight weeks more to come back to his best. Thats harsh against Davis because hes the one whod be put one step behind. I dont think that is fair. If Frimpong was at his best and didnt have this knee injury he could go into the team and strengthen us. Hes a quality player but has been out for a long time and played only three or four games. That would be an insult to Davis, whos got these messages hes close to the team and has done well.
