The Disciplinary Committee of the People�s National Convention (PNC) will be meeting over its flagbearer, Hassan Ayariga�s conduct at last week�s IEA Presidential debate. Speculations are rife that Mr. Ayariga is in bed with the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). Following the debate, the party�s National Youth Organiser, Abu Ramadan; a policy analyst of the party Atik Mohammed, and some parliamentary candidates of the party held a press conferencing denouncing the actions of their flagbearer. They slammed Mr. Ayariga for standing against the free SHS policy contained in the party�s manifesto and described him as a mole of the NDC in the party. The National Organiser of the party, Emmanuel Wilson, told XYZ NEWS in an interview that Mr. Ayariga�s heckling of his competitors at the recent debate is unacceptable. �I am hoping that by the middle of [this] week, we�ll hear from the disciplinary committee if indeed we decide to go by the provisions in the conditions,� he said. He said once he is a member of the party, it does not matter the individual�s pedigree; he or she will be dealt with according to the party�s regulations.
