Transition Team Meet After Holidays

The sub-committees under the Presidential Transition Team will be holding various meetings from today as part of preparations towards next week�s swearing in of President Mahama. The team, chaired by Vice President Amissah-Arthur is supervising the transition process as provided by the Presidential Transition Act of 2012. Its Spokesperson, James Agyenim�Boateng, told XYZ News the three statutory sub-committees have had the cooperation of all ministers and government officials who have been asked to submit their handing over notes and vehicles. �The various sub-committees continue to work� The full plenary of the transition team will meet again [today].� �The chief of staff has been given a greater part of the handing over notes. It�s just one or two more ministries to go. So we are perfectly within time; the transition is moving smoothly,� he said. Mr. Agyenim Boateng indicated the team will ensure that every aspect of the transition takes place within the needed time frame for future reasons.
