Alan Kyeremantens 2016 Posters Missing

Barely 24 hours after the supposed Alan Kyeremanten 2016 campaign posters were splashed across major towns and cities in the country, residents in Sunyani woke up on Tuesday morning to realize the posters had been removed. Residents who spoke to Daily Guide newspaper claimed the supposed Alan for 2016 campaign posters were removed by faceless sponsors who are said to be elements within the ruling National Democratic congress (NDC). The posters which were seen on Monday morning were mainly posted around the Ghana Commercial Bank main branch area in the central business district of Sunyani. The act, which has attracted a widespread condemnation from members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been described as a mischievous ploy by the ruling party to create disaffection among the rank and file of the NPP whose top officials are challenging the 2012 presidential election results at the courts. James Akwasi Aboagye, a taxi driver, accused the NDC of employing foul means to frustrate the leadership of the NPP to abandon the legal tussle pending before the Supreme court. According to him, the NDC knows every well that the case would not go in their favour in view of the hard evidence the NPP had produced. He said the NDC had adopted measures to break the front of the NPP and called on the rank and file of the NPP to be alert since the NDC was capable of doing anything to discredit the party.
