The MP for Talensi and Former Risk and Insurance Manager at the Tema Oil Refinery, Robert Mosore has urged government to recapitalize the Tema Oil Refinery to position it to refine crude oil from the Jubilee Oil Fields. He attributed the occasional shortage of petroleum products to the low level of operation by the Refinery. Mr.Mosore who was speaking in an interview with Radio Ghana, said if TOR is supported to operate at full capacity, it will not be necessary to remove subsidies on petroleum products as the current practice of importing finished products only worsens the problems of the refinery.
