NPP Must Boycott Parliament Totally Ken Kuranchie

Managing Editor of the Daily Searchlight Newspaper, Ken Kuranchie has asked the Minority NPP in Parliament to totally boycott Parliament until the Supreme Court finally determines their petition of electoral irregularities before it. Speaking on Citi-FMs News Analysis Programme The Big Issue, Mr. Kuranchie said the Minority must intensify their boycott to drum home the accusation that the 2012 election was stolen. I turn to have a problem with the official position of the NPP in Parliament because I would have extended the boycott. If I had any influence or voice with the Minority I will just instruct them to come there [Parliament] every 14 days to sign the attendance book and then walk out again. Mr. Kuranchie said the NPP should demonstrate in clear terms and to everything humanly possible to frustrate the NDC administration. On the same issue, NDC Member of Parliament for Builsa North, James Agalga has described the series of boycotts by the Minority as unconstitutional. He said the boycott embarked upon by them [NPP] is unconstitutional; it contravenes the laws of the land. Mr. Agalga backed his comment with article 64(2) of the 1992 constitution.
