Ex-Prez Mills Family Chases Killers.Swears On 62 gods

Family members of the late President John Evans Atta Mills are up in arms. Nearly a year after he died under highly controversial circumstances, the family members suspect that he suffered foul play at the hands of some yet to be identified people. In that direction, they have called on the sixty-two gods of Ekumfi to strike down and kill anybody who had a hand in the death of President Mills, failing a full confession. In an interview with Michael Afful of Oman FM, which was broadcast yesterday, Nana Ogya Boafo VII, the head of the Odomna Family of Ekumfi Otuam, who also happens to be the Chief of Ekumfi Henakuma, said the gods had revealed to them that Mills did not die naturally and that somebody hurried him along the path to heaven. He stated that certain incantations and prayers they had prayed before their sixty-two gods of Ekumfi had revealed clearly that Mills was killed and did not die naturally. We give his killers one year to confess, or they would also face the fate that is decreed by the gods, Nana Ogya Boafo VII threatened. Following the death of President Atta Mills, many people suggested that the former President was the victim of foul play, but this suggestion was heavily resisted by his colleagues and friends in government, who wept copiously for him but stoutly resisted all calls for an investigation into his death.
