Lordina Mahama Mark's World Malaria Day

First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama says the fight against malaria is not the sole responsibility of government, but all citizens. She said although Ghana has achieved some success, especially with the distribution of more than 12 million treated bed nets to combat the disease, there is still a lot more work ahead to reduce death arising from malaria. The First Lady announced that Ghana will soon have a factory to produce larvicides that can kill the mosquito larvae in the quest to fight malaria. Mrs Mahama was addressing a gathering as Ghana mark's World Malaria Day in Accra.
