Adakabre To Quit Adom FM

Adom 106.3 FMs morning show host Adakabre Frimpong Manso is lacing his boots to leave the station, News One has gathered from sources close to him. Reports say he would be taking center stage in running the affairs and calling the shots at a newly established radio station, which is yet to start test transmission. The station Adakabre would be moving to is said to belong to a popular businessman who owns a leading waste management as well as environmental sanitation business in Ghana and Africa. News One stumbled on the information in the course of following up on an earlier report that the Despite Group of Companies had budgeted an amount of $1 million to poach a heavyweight morning show host for its newly established Asomdwe FM. The paper gathered that although Adakabre was one of the persons whose names were being speculated as possible morning show host for Asomdwee, he rather would be moving to another station. Adakabre is keeping news about his movement from Adom FM under wraps, but it is no secret to the companys top management although it has not been discussed on an official level. Adakabre himself has jetted in and out of Adom FM and it is not certain if he is leaving for good this time around; or he would be returning to the station just as he did in the Hot FM incident. Adom FM has consistently lost some of its most able hands and names of top broadcasters, who have abandoned the station. They include Nana Odei Ampofo, Afia Pokua, Abeiku Santana, Daddy Bosco, and Akuoba Gyasi.
