Court Bonds Convict To Be Of Good Behaviour

A Sekondi District Magistrates� Court on Monday bonded Francis Ainn, a driver, to be of good behaviour for 24 months for picking passengers at an authorized area and causing road obstruction. The accused, who pleaded guilty, would in default of the bond, serve 3 months imprisonment. Prosecuting, a Chief Inspector of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Guards, Joseph Baidoo told the court presided over by Mr. Kwame Polley that Ainn was fined GHc180.00 by the court on March 14 this year for picking passengers at an unauthourised area and for road obstruction. He said on April 11, Ainn was arrested again by the Metropolitan guards and the Ghana Police at the Liberation Road in Takoradi for picking passengers in front of the All Needs Supermarket and thereby hindering vehicular and pedestrian movement.
