Offertories Shouldn't Prevent Men Of God From Speaking On The Supreme Court Case

Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NDC and current deputy minister of Youth and Sports, Joseph Yammin has sort to know why vociferous men of God who have carved a niche for themselves as vigilantes have all of a sudden gone deaf silence over the issue surrounding the NPPs petition to the Supreme Court seeking to invalidate the legitimacy of President Mahama. Mr. Yammin was of an opinion that per the posture taken by the some men of God who have been active in the past, he is forced to believe that their lips have gone numb because they are scared their utterances about the NPPs election petition would affect productivity in the church. Making his point sound clearer, the Ashanti Regional Secretary for the NDC, stated on Okay FM that some acclaimed religious leaders are afraid to see a decline in offertory and to be on a safer side, they have deliberately kept silence on the matter. According to him, when the matter of the creation of the forty five constituencies came up, some specific men of God came out to state and voice their opinion on it. He continued that when President Mahama also nominated Madam Oye Lithur to head the ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, the same known faces popped up offer diverse opinions on her nominations and castigated her for openly stating that she would protect gays. He challenged the same men of God who made their voices heard to come out and offer their views on the ongoing Supreme Court case if their aim is to prove to all Ghanaians that they are fair when offering an opinion on a matter.
