Seeking Clearance From Court Does Not Make NPP Bad Losers - John Boadu

A Deputy Director of Communications of the NPP, John Boadu, has alleged that the NDC led by late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills challenged the outcome of the 2004 presidential election which ex-President Kufour was declared a winner. He believes if the NPP feels there have been some misconduct during the 2012 election and has decided to seek clearance from the court it doesnt make the NPP bad losers as it is been portrayed by some members of the NDC The fact that you will go to court doesnt make u a bad loser. The NDC even in 2007, late Prof. Mills at their congress claimed the 2004 election was rigged and still have problems with it. That is why most of his members are still in court. You can deceive yourselves. Strangely enough the same lawyers, Tony Lithur and Tsatsu Tsikata were the same lawyers they used then. The 21 days by the constitution to seek court intervention when you have a problem with an election, the NDC wasted that but still filed a petition against the NPP, he said. John Boadu was reacting to Ade Coker and Alhaji Batures assertions on Asempa FM describing the NPP as bad losers for challenging the legitimacy of President John Mahama at the Supreme Court. On the same platform, John Boadu demystified the comments made by Ade Coker and Alhaji Bature and described it as unfortunate. If a party feels aggrieved in elections and decides to petition the right body which has the authority to adjudicate the matter, it does not make the person a bad loser. Some of this myopic thinking should get out of your heads. That fact the Rojo Mettle Nunoo and co. felt so bad that 2004 election was rigged and they went to court doesnt make the NDC bad losers. the fact that Nana Addo is in court too doesnt make them bad losers. I dont see where this bad loser thing is coming from. What is this! he bewailed. He however advised politicians to desist from gutter to gutter arguments when given the opportunity to analyze relevant issues.
