Ghana U-20 Lose Key Trio To Face France In World Cup Semi-Final

Ghana will be without three key players for Wednesdays FIFA U20 World Cup semi-final clash against France due to suspension. Centre-back pair of captain Lawrence Lartey and Joseph Attamah and midfielder Moses Odjer picked up their tournament second yellow cards in the hard-fought 4-3 win over Chile in the quarter-final. Head coach Sellas Tetteh will call on Baba Mensah and Princebell Addico as his central defenders to face Les Bluets. In the absence of Odjer, Michael Anaba or Kennedy Ashia could be deployed on the right side of midfield. Alternatively, Inter Milan youngster Alfred Duncan can be handed another start. The Black Satellites are seeking their second final berth in four years after beating Brazil on penalties to win the tournament for the first time.
