Naa Ashorkor Encourages The Youth To Follow Their Passions

Actress and TV presenter, Naa Ashorkor, has encouraged the youth to follow their passions, explaining that everybody has the potential to rise in life provided one puts a lot of energy into the field that he/she finds herself. Naa Ashorkor was speaking to a group of young people at an event organised by Guinness Ghana Brewries Limited as part of activities marking the Malta Guinness Rising Stars campaign. The campaign is aimed at unearthing the talents of the youth in Africa and Ghana in particular. Naa Ashorkor noted that people such as Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Jackie Appiah, Yvone Okoro, Majid Michel and Adjetey Anang, among others, were all blazing the trail in the entertainment film industry and urged the youth to take inspirations from them and also rise to the top in tehir respective fields of endeavours. Such pepole, she said, exhibited the creativity and energy of the African hence the decision by Malta Guinness to lead the way with a brand new Africa Rising campaign that celebrates the inner spark and collective energy of Ghanaians. The campaign aims at sharing inspiring stories; stories of people who are fuelling the rise of the continent on to the world stage for everyone to see. The company is looking for the top 100 stories that show how Ghana is helping to fuel the rise of Africa and people can participate by visiting the Malta Guinness facebook page.
