To achieve the MDG, on Infant and Child Health, the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service are leaving no stone unturned. A number of interventions are being rolled to that effect. On Tuesday, 3rd September First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, will launch the Measles-Rubella campaign in Tamale in the Northern region. The campaign will target children from nine months to 14 years for vaccination against the measles-rubella disease. The exercise begins from the 11th to 20th of next month/this month. The Manager of the Expanded Programme on Immunisation, Dr. Antwi Adjei tells Doreen Ampofo more on the campaign.
