President John Mahama has described as �sweet victory�, Ghana�s defeat of Zambia in Friday�s World Cup qualifier played in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
The Black Stars beat the Chipolopolo boys by 2 � 1.
�It was a sweet victory�, Mr. Mahama wrote on his facebook page after the game.
He said: �Congratulations to our players�, but added that: ��there is more work ahead�.
The victory qualifies Ghana to the play-offs of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers in Africa after Spartak Moscow striker Abdul Majeed Waris and Kwadwo Asamoah gave the Stars a win with Sinkala pulling one back.
