Stranded Passengers Sleep In Airports After Hundreds Of Flights Are Cancelled
Thousands of people were today stranded at airports across Britain as hundreds of flights were delayed and cancelled because of a technical problem at an air traffic control centre.
The National Air Traffic Services issue - which has left passengers affected at major airports including London Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick - was unlikely to be fixed until 7pm.
