Lack of Preparation Cost Osumanu Adama Alhaji Tawfik

Chief Executive Officer of Ambition Boxing Promotion, Alhaji Tawfik says Ghanaian boxer Osumanu Adamas defeat over the weekend was long overdue because he didnt get any support from his countrymen and had poor preparation before going into the fight with Gennady Golovkin. I was very disappointed for Osumanu Adamas defeat to Gennady Golovkin in their WBA Middleweight contest,he told Ghana Sports. I believe Adama didnt get the best preparation before going into this fight and he didnt get any support from GBA [Ghana Boxing Authority] and Ghanaians. Golovkins powerful left sent the Ghanaian challenger to the canvas at the end Round One and a quick left hook knocked Adama down in the sixth round, forcing an eight count, which left the referee with little options than to stop the fight. Golovkin successfully defended his belt for the tenth time, extending his record to 29-0 with 26KOs. The defeat was Adamas fourth in his professional career.
