Help Promote Cause Of Fellow Women

Women across the country have been admonished to support the vision of their fellow women who want to contribute to national development. The Founder of the Girl In Need Foundation, Ms Gifty Anti, who made the call, said women were created to be helpers in society, but unhealthy rivalry had made them lose focus on their God-given purpose on earth. Ms Anti was speaking to the Daily Graphic at the launch of Royal Diadems International, a non-denominational women centred ministry, which aims at developing women for Gods work involving shaping the lives of women for national development. She said women could accomplish more to support themselves and improve the lives of others if there would be little support from fellow women, who would encourage each other to put in their best in their endeavours. There is no need for women to be competitive in helping to develop society, there is no need to be each others enemy, the job is too much for just one person to accomplish, Ms Anti said. Royal Diadems International The ministry, headed by Reverend Afua Adjei Mensah, was established in 2013 to, among other things, encourage women to discover, develop and use their God-given gift for the betterment of society. It also aims at affecting families positively as women who play vital roles in the family system will be drawn closer to Christ and helping establish meaningful relationships among women for development. The ministry also has the vision to help develop the full potential of women through entrepreneurship training programmes and provide social assistance to the underprivileged in society. Impacting lives of women Launching the ministry, Ms Anti, who is a journalist, urged the new ministry to impact the lives of women positively and encourage them to appreciate their worth in society. I expect Royal Diadems to be an organisation that will help women understand their role in society and rediscover their God-given purpose on earth, she said She noted that the Bible teaches that God used women who were considered not worthy to achieve great success and advised that women shun all negative things and extend to one another a helping hand to enable Gods purpose for women to come to fruition. Founders address In her address, Rev. Adjei Mensah said the core values of the ministry were to worship, pray, apply the bible, build a healthy relationship with one another and serve in the name of Christ. She noted that programmes such as weekly empowerment meetings, conferences, prayer retreats and leadership training had been put together to help develop the full potential of women. Preaching the word In a sermon, the Founder and President of Kingsway Ministerial Institute, Rev. Dr Emmanuel Osae, urged ministers of the gospel and Christians to not relent in preaching the gospel. According to him, the country had reached a point where people are only interested in the blessings of God but not interested to hear what God requires of them to deliver his blessings. He advised that men and women of God stand up to the truth of the gospel and rebuke the people when necessary.
