The modus operandi of Kofi Senya, presiding member PM of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) can be described as retrogressive rather than Progressive. Expressing concern over the activities of Mr. Senya residents of new Suame Electoral Area said Kofi. Senya has unilaterally and single-handedly sold a public space at Kotoko, New Suame to someone for the establishment of a filling station. It must be added that, the sale of the New Suame Sub-Metro�s property was done without any due resort and consultation with the Sub-Metro assembly, and not even a pesewa of the proceeds that accrued from the sale of the said land was rendered to the sub-metro assembly. Mr. Kofi Senya pocketed the amount generated from the sale of the land. The New Suame assembly man, has also entered into a fraudulent and dubious tenancy agreement with certain individuals for the ownership of stores which are being constructed at new Suame near the toilet site. Indeed, all these facilities according to the group were appropriated to individuals without the knowledge of the assembly or the express consent of the sub-metro assembly-members. The chairman of the group, Mr. Kassim Awudu of concerned Suame Citizen said some of the actions undertaken by Kofi Senya can best be described as criminal rather than corrupt. According to the chairman, the indigenes of New Suame were shocked to their marrows when they got to know that a borehole facility given by the Kumasi metropolitan assembly to be constructed for the community was finally located and erected at a hotel which is owned by the P.M (BLUE ICE) located at Afrancho, a suburb in Kumasi. Mr. Kofi Senya as stated by the chairman of the group does not account to anyone in the collection and management of revenues accruing from public toilet facilities located at Kotoko in new Suame. He does not even involve any of his unit committee members or any other stakeholder in his exercise as, he has become the jack of all the show that goes on in the sub-metro assembly. Again his stewardship as the assemblyman of the people new Suame can best be described as a magnificent failure. As the presiding member of the KMA, he has woefully failed to do anything to improve the fortunes of the electoral area. The four time assembly man of the area and also presiding member of KMA cannot even use his position as the PM to even help to procure covets to cover a huge gutter located right at the entrance of Kotoko. He emphasized that Kofi Senya has not only been a prodigal servant of the people of new Suame, but a very bad servant of the KMA over years. This man has been working consistently over the years to derail the efforts of successive MAYORS and assemblies at bringing meaningful development to the Kumasi metropolis. Mr. Senya has sought to unleash blackmail, vicious verbal and physical attacks on successive MAYORS like. Kwasi Agyemang, Hon. Patricia Appiagyei, and now had not spared Hon. Kojo Bonsu of his malicious attacks.
