Ghana Signs Agreement With Israel

Israel Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr Avigdor Liberman and the Foreign Affairs Minister of Ghana, Ms Hanna Tetteh on Monday signed two memorandum of understanding to deepen bilateral relations. The agreement was signed to allow Israeli and Ghanaian foreign mission spouses take up job opportunities in Ghana and Israel. The second agreement summarises the outcome and activities of the visit of Mr Liberman to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, when he paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene. Ms Tetteh thanked the Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister for the support his country had shown for the country over the past years and expressed the hope that the relationship would be a successful as well as deepen the economic growth of the country. Mr Avigdor Liberman expressed gratitude to the Minister for welcoming him and his team into the country and prayed that the signed agreement became a success to transform the two countries. He said the business delegation that would be coming into the country would help provide a more comfortable atmosphere for the two countries to strengthen ties for economic development. Mr Liberman said this would improve the trade relations both countries are currently enjoying to harness more developmental initiatives.
