V/R NPP Elects National Council Members

The Volta regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has held an extra-ordinary meeting to elect representatives to the National Council of the party. Those elected were Mr Kofi Mensah Dzamesi for the northern zone, Professor James Flolu for the central zone and Mr Samuel Dzamesi for the southern zone. They will join the Regional Chairman, Mr John Peter Amewu, the Regional Secretary, Mr Joseph Worlanyo Homenya and the first vice chairman, Dr Archibald Yao Letsa to serve on the National Council of the party. In an address, the National Treasurer of the party, Mr Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah, who supervised the election and also swore in the council members, charged them to carry the interest of the party to the council and stressed that it should always be their priority. Speaking on behalf of the members, Mr Dzamesi, who was the Volta Regional Minister in the Kufuor regime, thanked all those who helped to have a successful election and asked them to close all gaps to achieve the ultimate in winning elections and power.
