Some Registration Centers Record High Figures

Some Registration cenres in the Koforidua Municipality have recorded some appreciable figures in the on-going limited voters� registration exercise. At the St Peters Primary School registration center at Betom, 45 people had registered. According to Mr Asafo Adjei, apart from the freezing of the Biometric Verification Machine (BVM) which slowed down the exercise, no voter had been challenged. He those without identification documents had guarantors. Miss Faustina Sackey the Registration Officer of the Koforidua Senior High School center said 42 people had so far registered. She said about 90 to 95 per cent of registrations done were people without any form of identification. Agents of the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party were at all the centers.
