Govt. Should Focus On Its Areas of Strength...Even Cholera The NDC Can't Fight It!!! - Atik

Every country has its own peculiar problems but Ghanas numerous teething troubles seem to have overwhelmed the Mahama-led administration, according to Atik Mohammed of the Peoples National Convention(PNC). To him, the government has failed on virtually everything it has attempted to tackle, including sanitation and the escalation of reported cholera cases underscores that fact. He called on the government to come out and state its strengths and areas it can best tackle so as to hold focus on those areas because it seems even common cholera you cant fight. In the view of the PNC Policy Analyst, the people of Ghana would be eternally grateful to President Mahama and his government if they are able to solve the sanitation problems; at least. please solve the sanitation issues and take credit if that would even be the only thing you can do right, Atik Mohammed pleaded during a studio discussion on NEAT FM. He made these comments on the back of the reported surge of cholera cases, with the La General Hospital in Accra alone recording 586 and 8 deaths between July 9, 2014 and August 11, 2014. Meanwhile, the Senior Health Service Administrator at the hospital, Mr Philip Afeti Korto has described the situation as alarming as 74 new cases had been recorded on the 12th of July, 2014.
