Bugri Naabu Must Be Called To Order - Nyaho-Tamakloe

The current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, as a matter of urgency, must call the Northern Regional Chairman of the party, Mr Bugri Naabu, to order, a leading member of the party, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has charged. By coercing the delegates in the Northern Region to vote for one of the candidates and describing himself as an agent of that candidate in the region, Bugri Naabu has abandoned his role as a neutral referee in the ongoing contest to elect our next flag bearer, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe declared. In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe said: Mr Bugri Naabu has compromised the integrity of the party. He has brought the party to disrepute and he must be stopped before he causes more harm. According to Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe, Unlike Bugri Naabu, some of us never left the NPP in the hard times or after we lost an internal elections, so we will jealously protect this democratic heritage of the party. In Dr Nyaho-Tamakloes view, the NPP is not a communist party. He says the NPP is a liberal democratic pacesetter in Ghana and we must not sit by idly as Bugri Naabu destroys what many have fought and died for. He added that Bugri Naabus conduct was without precedent in the history of the NPP. Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe asserted and stressed that previously, he dared to falsely accuse former President J.A. Kufuor and cast aspersions on the National Chairman, Mr Paul Afoko and I am alarmed that the partys hierarchy has failed to call him to order. I am also shocked that most of the flag bearer candidates have remained mute following his recent comments, he stated. Dr Nyaho -Tamakloe observed that people who merely expressed their opinions had been hounded out of the party and yet Bugri Naabu had been allowed to create his own version of the partys doctrine. "Our party is now applying discipline in a discriminatory manner," Dr. Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe stated.
