Mancini: Ronaldo Makes Me Want Portugal Job

Roberto Mancini admits that getting the chance to coach Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo makes taking the Portugal job very appealing. Paulo Bento departed by mutual consent as coach of the Seleccao during September's international break after Portugal suffered a shock defeat at home to minnows Albania, following failure to progress through the group stage at the World Cup. Mancini, who stepped down as Galatasaray boss this summer, is one of the highest profile European coaches currently unemployed and he accepts that the lure of working with the ex-Manchester United forward is strong.
