Presidential aspirant hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen on Saturday, 13th September, 2014, officially launched his campaign amidst calls for him to step down for his close contender, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to go solo. At the launch which was held at Abeka Lapaz, opposite the Abrantie Spot, a suburb of Accra, the former Trade Minister in the erstwhile, Kufuor Administration, expressed optimism of wining the NPP�s presidential slot in the party�s upcoming National Delegates' Congress on October 18. He also added that he was willing to support whoever will emerge as the eventual winner at the polls. On Monday, 15th September, 2014, Alan Kyerematen, popularly known as �Alan Cash� visited the studios of PEACE FM and interacted with Kwami Sefa Kayi on the award-winning morning show �Kokrokoo�. 'Alan Cash', assisted by his spokesperson, Ohene Ntow, also toured PEACEFMONLINE.COM, UTV, OKAY FM AND NEAT FM. Coincidentally, Madam Akua Donkor, founder and leader of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), was also in the Studios of OKAY FM and Oh! what Joy it was for her to meet Alan Cash.
