Chairman of the Commission of Enquiry investigating into Ghana�s appearance at the Brazil 2014 World Cup, Justice Senyo Dzamefe, was on Thursday full of praise for President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi for turning up at the Commission and �really educating� the Commission on various issues. Justice misconceptions in the public domain. �Mr. Nyantakyi, I must say that you�ve really educated us. There a lot of things people didn�t know but you�ve really educated us these past days you have been with us and indeed, these past few days have been very interesting for us. I have to thank you and thank your lawyers and all FA members�, the appeals court Judge said in high admiration. Nyantakyi on his part, thanked the Commission for the platform and the opportunity, and reiterated his happiness at having the opportunity to clear the misconceptions as he had said on the first day of his appearance. �Thank you also most sincerely for this opportunity. Am grateful I have made an appearance despite all the negative stories. I want to say that it was never the stance of the FA not to appear before this commission as had been bandied about. I was personally in Zurich last week, at FIFA Head office and I made the point to FIFA that appearing before this commission will be important for us to build good institutions for developing football and a better relationship with government. I am therefore happy I have come here�, he said. Nyantakyi disclosed that even though FIFA wanted to put some checks on the commission so it would not go into certain areas, he had been against that and asked for the FA to be fully opened up and for the Commission to be allowed to ask whatever it wanted to clear. On his part, another Commissioner, Kofi Anokye Darko, also highly praised Nyantakyi for his display at the Commission. �I must say that I have benefitted from you and you appearance here so much. I have learnt a lot from you. I don�t know you from anywhere but I am happy you were here. You were more composed than even your Communications people and more receptive. Thank you for coming�, he said. Indeed, so cordial were the discussions on the day that, the GFA President asked the GFA members assembled to clap for the Commission while the Commissioners also reciprocated by clapping for the GFA for cooperating. Dzamefe made this interesting confession, after two hours of a charming display by the FA Boss who like he has done for the past two days, took his time to clarify all the issues which had created several suspicions in the minds of the public and the subject of discussion on many sports programmes.
