The Founder and Leader of the defunct Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor was prevented from greeting Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at a durbar in the Eastern region.
Madam Akua Donkor who was part of the Eastern regional minister�s entourage to a ceremony at Awukugua where the Ashanti overlord was a Guest of Honour was prevented from exchanging fraternal greetings with him by his handlers.
Otumfuo was in the hometown of one of the founders of the Ashanti kingdom, Okomfo Anokye for the 40th anniversary durbar of Oseadeayo Addo Dankwah.
The GFP founder since declaring her intention to contest for the presidency of the land has been at various national functions.
She has also been to several political party functions including the launch of the campaign of incumbent National hairman of the NDC, Dr. Kwabena Adjei.
However, on this occasion she was not given the usual VIP treatment always offered her and the visibly angry female politician says she is unperturbed by the seemly harsh treatment meted out to her.
She cited one Nana Kentenkrankyi as the person who stopped her from greeting the Otumfou insisting the person so named cannot change her fame if that is what he seeks to achieve.
