According to him, the vitriolic attacks by some supporters of the aspirants on social media particularly, facebook, have the tendency to divide the party. Speaking on Adom FMs morning show "Dwaso Nsem" Friday, Sammy Awuku urged the youth to be circumspect in their discourse on social media. As the clock ticks for us to go to the polls tomorrow, I urge all our youth to be circumspect when interacting on social media because, I think that is the main cause of fights amongst our youth. Dirty campaigns on social media must stop, he stressed. The NPP youth leader indicated that winning the 2016 election is not negotiable adding that all party faithful especially the youth, are expected to come together and work hard for victory. We need more empowered youth in our country and so it is our responsibility to make them responsible because when the NPP comes to power in 2016, we will change the dying economy, he noted. Sammy Awuku was however, impressed with the conduct of the spokespersons of the various flagbearer-aspirants and urged them to keep it up.
