Supporters Celebrate Massive Victory Of Nana Akufo-Addo At Nkawkaw

Supporters of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who listened to the results of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) presidential primaries on air yesterday, started spontaneous celebration of the massive victory of Nana Akufo-Addo in the Eastern Region at Nkawkaw. As the local radio stations started announcing the results of the primaries from constituencies around Nkakaw, people went to change into their dresses with NPP colours with other party paraphernalia.. In the Fanteakwa North Constituency, Nana Akufo Addo won 650 out of the 651 votes cast, with only one vote rejected, with Alan Kyerematen and Addae Nimo scoring zero votes. In the Abetifi Constituency, Nana Akufo-Addo won 589 of the 600 votes cast, whilst Addae Nimo had three votes, and Alan Kyerematen securing seven votes. In Atiwa East Constituency, Nana Akufo-Addo won 314 votes out of the 316 votes cast, with Addae Nimo recording zero and Alan Kyerematen having two votes. In Abirem Constituency, Nana Akufo-Addo won 405 votes out of the 408 votes cast, Addae Nimo had no vote and Alan Kyerematen had three votes. In the Mpraeso Constituency, Nana Akufo-Addo had 495 votes, Alan Kyerematen had 12 votes, with Addae Nimo polling two votes.
