Prez Mahama Is Not Financing My Campaign - Allotey Jacobs

Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has denied receiving financial help from the President in his bid to become the Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). To him, it is preposterous to think he had taken money from President Mahama to campaign even though they are close friends. Responding the rumor that his campaign is being financed by the Flagstaff House, he stated the fact that I am President Mahamas friend does not mean he is supporting me. He will not do that. Allotey Jacobs is of the view that he has work in various capacities of the NDC in the region for many years and believes his message is resonating not because he has lots of money to campaign with. I have been behind the scenes for a long time and remote controlled everything that happens in the region as far as the party is concerned. If President Mahama had any money, he would rather use it to better the lives of the less privileged and orphans, and not support my campaign with it, he said on Okay FMs Ade Akye Abia programme.
