NDC Will Not Invite Konadu Rawlings Party for Negotiations - Gen. Mosquito

The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said the party will in no way beg splinter party National Democratic Party (NDP) to come back home. NDP Chairman Dr Josiah Aryeh who is the NDCs former General Secretary led a delegation on Tuesday to call on the main opposition New Patriotic Partys flag-bearer Nana Akufo-Addo at his Nima residence in Accra. Aryeh endorsed the former Attorney Generals candidature and said Ghana needed a leader of his stature. Asiedu Nketia, however, told Asempa FM on Tuesday that if the NDP intended using the visit to Akufo-Addo as a strategy to get the NDC to make reunion overtures to them, then it was a bad move. We wont beg the NDP to come back to us, he said, adding that the NDC will not in any way invite former first lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings party for unity talks and negotiations.
