The National Executive Committee of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) says cheques have been released for payment of allowances for National Service Personnel. President of NASPA, Ekow Assafuah Vincent confirmed the release in a statement. He therefore called on service personnel to contact their respective district offices for payment arrangements. He also commended the service personnel for the level of maturity and patience they demonstrated the past two months in the face of the delay in payment of their allowances.
