Egbert Faibille, Lawyer for the General Manager of Accra based private radio station Citi FM, Samuel Attah-Mensah has bemoaned the action by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) to keep his client under detention without access to his counsel. Speaking in an interview with Peace News at 6 pm, he disclosed that the client had been invited by the BNI in connection with a publication by citifmonline.com on the arrest of a suspected cocaine courier. The suspect, Nayeli Ametefeh, was reportedly arrested at Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom for carrying cocaine weighing 12.5 kgs worth several millions of pounds. Nayeli, who has a Ghanaian passport with the number G0364497, also possess an Austrian passport with number P4187659. Addressing the issue, Lawyer Faibille disclosed that his client is being interrogated by the BNI.
